Description |
Portrait of a man wearing a dark suit. He is sitting in an armchair and is holding a newspaper. The man also has facial hair along both jawbones. At the bottom of the card printed in metallic gold is the photographer’s name of Broadbent & Taylor, 914 Chestnut Street. On the back of the card in black print shows the Broadbent & Taylor signature and logos. At the top of the card, there is a handwritten note of “Nov 20 1878/ Property of Lawrence Johnson”. Two other markings are in pencil "3 00/SUE" and "S0611'. |
